During a Sunday, Sept. 13 official visit to St. James in-the-City in Los Angeles, Bishop Antonio Gallardo Lucena praised the richness of the historic multicultural congregation, whose community includes people from Korea, Africa and many parts of the world, with many different stories, cultures, languages, customs and ways of communicating, and where the richness of the Body of Christ is discovered and rejoiced, Gallardo said. “We are one because Christ is among us, and where Christ is, there is room for every language, for every culture, for every story, for every generation, and for every person whom God has welcomed. And that is all of us, with no exceptions.”
