Bishop Antonio recently visited the welcoming community of St. Columba’s Spirit of Peace in Big Bear Lake, where Episcopal and Evangelical Lutheran congregations have come together in a shared ministry rooted in faith, love, and unity.
Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, this unique community celebrates a deep commitment to hospitality, caring for one another, and embracing all living things. During his visitation, Bishop Antonio reminded the congregation that Christian unity is something we continually practice through love, forgiveness, and welcoming others.
Thank you to the Rev. Stuart Swann, Vicar and Pastor, Canon Martha Estes, and the entire congregation for sharing their stories and extending such a warm welcome!
