As our nation marks the 250th anniversary of American independence, St. John Chrysostom Episcopal Church invites the community to American Landscapes, a special concert on Sunday, September 27, at 4:00 p.m.
Featuring music by Charles Ives and other American composers, alongside familiar tunes and readings, American Landscapes explores the sounds, stories, and traditions that have shaped the American experience. The program offers an imaginative journey through landscapes both physical and remembered, reflecting on nature, history, faith, and community.
Performers include Erin Pence and Lisa Naulls, vocals; Al “Buddy” Lang, trumpet; Nathan Lewis, piano and organ; and Steve Green, violin.
Free and open to the public. Donations welcome.
