Conversations on 5-Year Plan Update
Mission Share Fund Budget Dialogues
Nearly five years ago, clergy and congregations were asked to participate in formulating the vision put forth for the future of our Diocese. From this vision came the FACTS goals and establishment of 33 specific initiatives. Now as we live out that future, our bishops again invited our clergy and congregations to meet for conversation about our vision and our continuing journey of faith into a time of new challenges and opportunities for the Diocese of Los Angeles. At the annual Ministry Fair, held March 1, 2007, participants engaged with the bishops in a conversation about the changing needs of the diocese and visions for the future. In addition, two meetings concerning the Five-Year Plan Update and the 2009 Mission Share Budget were held in June, and a third is scheduled for July 12. In addition, similar discussions were held at meetings of deanery deans and presidents and the regular meeting of Diocesan Council on July 10.
