Canon James Newman will introduce the LIFE INNOVATIONS Program, utilizing a variety of materials based around the PREPARE/ENRICH inventories. P/E utilizes a 165-item questionnaire that helps the counselor identify areas of strength, growth, and indecision. The P/E inventories focus on pre-marital couples, pre-marital couples with children, long-term cohabiting couples, married couples, and mature couples (pre-marital or marital).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Joanne Leslie and Luisa Del Giudice. &amp;quot;Beijing Circles&amp;quot; refers to the 1995 &amp;quot;Beijing Platform for Action,&amp;quot; which addresses issues of equality, development and peace affecting women worldwide. This workshop follows &amp;quot;Listening Globally, Acting Locally:&amp;nbsp; The Beijing Circles Summit, New York, 2008&amp;quot; which took place in May.&amp;nbsp; Beijing Circles bring together women (and men) of faith to educate themselves vis-&amp;agrave;-vis the Beijing Platform for Action (and the UN Millennium Goals, which disproportionately affect women globally), and to work for positive change in their own communities. Joanne Leslie, Sc.D., is a former UCLA faculty member in the School of Public Health, an ordained deacon in the Episcopal Church, and a member of the national Beijing Circles steering committee.&amp;nbsp; Luisa Del Giudice, Ph.D., is an independent scholar of Ethnology and Oral History, is active in the Episcopal Church, and currently serves on the Social Action Ministry (SAM) of St. Alban's Church.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
