Camping Program

The goal of the diocesan camping program is to help individuals of all ages deepen their sense of reverence and respect for themselves, their fellow human beings, the creation, and God. It also seeks to make each diocesan camp a "peaceful place apart" for nurturing, planning, reflection, exchange of ideas and a special sense of community. The Episcopal Camp at Wrightwood is located at 22800 Big Pines Highway in Wrightwood. Conveniently 90 minutes northeast of Los Angeles, the camp is nestled in the Angeles Forest atop the San Gabriel mountains, and near the town of Wrightwood. Driving Directions
 
The Camp is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. Groups of up to 64 people can be accommodated year round in comfortable dorm-style cabins. The facilities include a dining hall that also serves as a spacious meeting room with a fireplace, there are two other areas for small group meetings and plenty of outdoor areas for meeting in work weather.

Guests can enjoy hiking, backpacking, canoeing and other water activities in the summer as well as snow skiing and sledding in the winter.
 
The resident staff is available for program assistance.
